Pest Control Bangor

Inspecting a Bangor home requires a deep understanding of bushland ecology and the challenges of elevated, rocky terrain. We focus intensely on the perimeter bordering the reserves. Because many homes are built on rocky inclines, retaining walls and split-level subfloors create complex, hidden microclimates. We check for funnel-web burrows in damp soil near retaining walls, termite mud tubes ascending exterior brickwork, and rodent entry points along the roofline where branches overhang the property.

The subfloor inspection is particularly critical in this suburb. Homes built on the ridges often have expansive, stepped crawlspaces that can trap moisture from rock runoff. These dark, humid areas are highly attractive to subterranean termites foraging from the surrounding bushland. We meticulously inspect the bearer and joist timbers, checking for any sign that the property’s physical or chemical termite barriers have been breached or compromised by natural soil movement or rock shifts.

Inside the home, we check roof voids where possums and bush rats frequently seek shelter during winter, often causing significant damage to insulation and wiring. We also inspect for large Huntsman spiders and Redbacks that wander indoors during summer storms. Our goal is to establish a massive, multi-layered defensive perimeter that intercepts bushland pests long before they can breach your living spaces.
